Ehrwald has a rich Tyrolean heritage and plenty of interesting sights – from the Ehrwald local heritage museum, the Zugspitze summit museum to the Ehrwald church and the numerous alpine chapels not to mention the hunting castle of the German writer Ludwig Ganghofer or the Via Claudia, an ancient roman highway leading to Rome.

Ehrwald is also an ideal starting point for excursions in the nearby area. The Olympic cities of Garmisch and Innsbruck are a short drive away (20/60min) and have plenty to offer the whole family.
