Zupspitzarena – biker’s heaven! For the second year in a row the Zugspitzarena has been voted Austria number one biking region!
The region offer more than one hundred signposted bike trails at the foot of the Zugspitze. From easy hobby routes in the valley to trails along water around the Heiterwang lake, the Plansee and the Fernsteinsee to more demanding mountain bike trails at altitudes above a 1000m sealevel. One can take advantage of the mountain lifts to take the strain of the strenuous climbs – once on top trails are more or less level.
