Ski lessons & ski school – right at the Tirolerhof

For little slope racers from age 3

This is where the youngest guests playfully start their ski adventure.

In the children’s area, they practice their first movements on snow – with magic carpet, carousel and simple snowplough exercises. Everything is child-friendly, in a calm setting and with attentive supervision.

Children aged 5 to 10

Your child can already ski confidently in a snowplough? Then this is the next step.
In the Pony Class, children practice the transition from snowplough to their first parallel turns. Playful, motivating and supported by a specially designed learning course on the sunny slope.

Weekly focus:

• Using the drag lift
• Edging & sliding
• “Close the door” technique (first parallel turns)

Ages 8 to 14

Here, children and teens learn how to control their speed and master their first carving movements. They also practice small jumps and the well-known hockey stop.

At the end of the week, the group heads together to the Ehrwalder Alm ski area – tailored to their individual skill levels.

Ages 13 to 16

For teens who already ski confidently.
This group focuses on technique, safety and confident turns even on steeper terrain.

Learning goals:

• Short turns
• Race carving
• Skiing on the Zugspitze
• Small tricks & safe jumps

If you’d like to learn individually or work specifically on your technique, private lessons are the perfect choice.

Special feature:
The second person joins free of charge.

Times:
8:30–9:30 am | 9:45–11:45 am | 12:10–1:55 pm | 2:00–4:00 pm

Ski lessons take place daily from Sunday to Friday. You can join on any day; however, during peak holiday periods we recommend booking a full week.

Times:

• Morning: 9:45–11:45
• Afternoon: 2:00–4:00 pm
• Full day: both sessions combined

Lunch supervision:
Available on request, including a warm lunch and a break at the ski school building (11:40–2:00 pm). Course children have lunch with us at the hotel and are lovingly cared for at the Tirolerhof.

Drop-off & pick-up service:
For our youngest guests, we offer a very special service – our “drop-off & pick-up service” for ski school:

• 9:15 am | We take the children to ski school – meeting point: exit of the ski storage room
• 11:40 am | The children are brought back to the hotel
• 12:00 pm | Shared lunch at the hotel – followed by play & fun in the Kids Club
• 1:40 pm | We take the children back to ski school
• 4:00 pm | Return to the hotel – meeting point: this is where you pick up your children

To ensure the best possible planning, we kindly ask you to let us know in advance whether you will bring your children to ski school yourself and/or pick them up.
