We are very happy to accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, or special dietary preferences. Our kitchen team has a lot of experience in preparing suitable alternatives. To ensure everything is perfectly prepared for your stay, we kindly ask you to contact us again about one week before your arrival so we can discuss your specific requirements in more detail. We look forward to making your stay as enjoyable as possible.
Childcare is one of the most important areas in our house, so our carers are fully trained and keep a close eye on hygiene! Our BERG BUDDY KIDS CLUB is open six days a week from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. You’ll find the current Happy Kids weekly timetable posted outside the club.

“Empty Plate” Campaign
To encourage mindful eating, we take part in the “Empty Plate” campaign. Each child receives a little booklet. For every completely cleared plate - whether at family mealtimes or during Kids’ Club - they earn a Happy Stamp. Children who collect a Happy Stamp every evening will receive a small surprise before they depart.
Baby care is available by prior arrangement at the Kids Club five days a week from 9 am to 7 pm. There is no baby care on public holidays.

Our BabyLock system works via your mobile phone. The charges incurred equate to one unit of call credit per signal, according to your provider’s rates. Please give your mobile number (and a second contact number) at reception.

LOISL, your personal travel assistant, accompanies you throughout your holiday and helps you not to miss a single highlight. Loisl knows all opening hours, suggested routes, events and much more.

Any extras and drinks you consume will be charged to your room. For your own verification, please check and countersign the receipts left on the breakfast table each day.

Every fourth day from the day of your arrival, your room will automatically receive the full range of services.
Let us know if the “crumb monster” has struck. We’ll schedule your room cleaning for the following day between 09:00 am and 1:00 pm.

Ehrwald’s panorama captivates at first glance. To the east soars the mighty Zugspitze, while to the south the snowfields of the Mieming Range and the Wetterstein Mountains dazzle the eye. Perched at just under 1,000 metres above sea level and nestled in a sun-drenched, wild-romantic valley sprinkled with mountain lakes, Ehrwald is truly a picture-perfect paradise.
Where is Ehrwald? Just follow the Zugspitze! Anyone making for the Tyrolean side of the mountain will find themselves in Ehrwald sooner or later. As the largest municipality in the region, it sits right at the foot of the Wetterstein range, home to the 2,962-metre-high Zugspitze. In the Ehrwald Basin, the Lermooser Moos lies adjacent to the town, with the Loisach River winding through it.
What’s in a name? Derived from the Old High German “erro wald,” Ehrwald may mean “beginning of the forest.” Others believe the original name conveyed “old forest” or even “ore forest,” which would make sense given the nearby mineral deposits.

We recommend booking your preferred appointments well in advance. Appointments can be booked daily from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm at the hotel reception or by telephone. Cancellation: Please cancel appointments at least 12 hours in advance. Otherwise, 80% of the treatment price will be charged. If you arrive late, the treatment time will be reduced accordingly.
Learn to ski at our in-house ski school, which has its own practice area just ‘a ski’s length’ away from the Hotel Tirolerhof. You can conveniently book your ski course when you make your reservation and secure your place!
Our ski courses start on Sunday and end with a ski race on Friday.
There are no group ski courses on Saturdays – private lessons are available. You can join a course any day.
Group courses are available at various levels.

* 21 days before arrival | free of charge
* 20 days before arrival | 50% cancellation fee
* 10 days before arrival | 100% cancellation fee
* Cancellation on site is only possible with a doctor’s certificate; we will only charge for services provided up to that point. On the day of arrival, in the event of a no-show, early departure or late arrival, the full ski course fee (100% of the total price) will be charged! Cancellations and changes will only be accepted in writing.
The ski courses will be conveniently added to your hotel bill.

Tirolerhof Skipass Service - you can buy your lift passes directly at the reception, no waiting or queuing at the lift!
The “Top Snow Card” is valid for all lifts in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena as well as the mountain railways in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Mittenwald and Grainau – 213 kilometres of varied slopes and 87 cable cars & lifts.

CANCELLATION FEES
REBOOKING | You can rebook your stay free of charge up to 91 days before arrival. If you choose this option, we’ll happily move your booking to a different date. Your deposit will not be lost but credited to your new stay. No handling fee applies in this case.
GENERAL | In case of early departure or late arrival the full room rate will be charged! Cancellations and changes will only be accepted in writing. The reservation is considered binding only after receipt of the deposit in the specified period. No refund will be given for meals not taken. If you arrive during the week, a possible room change is possible on the weekend.
PACKAGES | with a discounted special price cannot be canceled. The full amount is due upon completion of the booking and is non-refundable. No further discounts for Happy Card holders, regular guest bonuses or other discounts can be granted.
*REFUND | In case of cancellations free of charge, we will refund your deposit upon request, minus a handling fee of 75,00 EUR per booking.
Our staff do their very best every day to ensure you have a thoroughly enjoyable stay.
As a token of your appreciation, there is a tip box at reception. The money collected is shared amongst all members of staff.

It is not so rare that things turn out differently than you think and the booked vacation has to be cancelled or interrupted.
To avoid unpleasant cancellation costs, we offer the Hotel Cancellation Premium Insurance of the Europäische Reiseversicherung.
You can request and take out the insurance during the booking process.
A good travel insurance is worth its weight in gold just in case.
You are welcome to make a bank transfer to our account before your arrival.
You can settle your hotel bill on site by 7.00 pm the evening before departure.
We accept payment in cash, by debit card or credit card (Mastercard or Visa).
In the event of late arrival or early departure, the room will be charged for the agreed dates.
