Off we go to the waterfall – with exciting stops to play, explore and relax. The trail leads you along the Gaisbach stream to the beautiful Seeben waterfall and back across the alpine meadows. Our Kids Club team guides you through the landscape of the Zugspitz region and tells you all about the four legacies of Ehrwald. Along the way, you’ll solve riddles and crack a code to discover Ehrwald’s secrets. There’s also a water play area, a Kneipp path, relaxing loungers, scenic spots and plenty of knowledge about local plants and animals. OUR EXCURSION TIP The Loisach Springs lie nestled between Blindsee, Mittersee and Weißensee – right in the best company. Technically speaking, we’re talking about “sources,” plural. Several springs feed a small marshy pond, from which the Loisach river begins its 115-kilometer journey to the Isar near Wolfratshausen. Fun fact: you can follow this entire route by bike – always along the Loisach. The tour leads past natural highlights like the Zugspitze, various springs and moors, and a unique range of flora and fauna. If you’re sporty, you can do the full distance in one day. If you prefer a more relaxed approach, the route can be divided into stages – giving you more time to enjoy the incredible views. EXPERIENCE THE TIROLEAN LANDSCAPE UP CLOSE Everything is possible, nothing is a must. The question of where your personal favourite spot in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena is – will have many different answers. For some, it’s one of the many swimming spots in the region – natural or man-made. For others, it’s the top of a mountain. Or our hotel terrace with its breathtaking view of the Ehrwald mountain panorama. The best way to enjoy it? With a fresh, fruity cocktail or our very own Tirolerhof Spritzer, created specially for our guests. And for our little ones, the highlight is clear: our outdoor playground. In our Happy Club, wildest dreams come true. In the morning, they’re building a dam in a stream, then turning into pirates – and in the evening, they dig up a treasure. The next day might bring climbing adventures in the Confetti Alm or a hike with duck-feeding. At dinner, bright-eyed children share their stories, while parents enjoy their well-earned break.
