Childcare is one of the most important areas in our house, so our carers are fully trained and keep a close eye on hygiene! Our HAPPY KIDS CLUB is open six days a week from 10:00 to 21:00. You’ll find the current Happy Kids weekly timetable posted outside the club.

“Empty Plate” Campaign
To encourage mindful eating, we take part in the “Empty Plate” campaign. Each child receives a little booklet. For every completely cleared plate—whether at family mealtimes or during Kids’ Club—they earn a Happy Stamp. Children who collect a Happy Stamp every evening will receive a small surprise before they depart.
Baby care is available by prior arrangement at the Kids Club five days a week from 9 am to 7 pm. There is no baby care on public holidays.

Our BabyLock system works via your mobile phone. The charges incurred equate to one unit of call credit per signal, according to your provider’s rates. Please give your mobile number (and a second contact number) at reception.

LOISL, your personal travel assistant, accompanies you throughout your holiday and helps you not to miss a single highlight. Loisl knows all opening hours, suggested routes, events and much more.
Your room will be ready for you from 3 pm on your arrival day. If you’re arriving after 7 pm, please let us know.
All good things must sadly come to an end! We kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11 am.
Any extras and drinks you consume will be charged to your room. For your own verification, please check and countersign the receipts left on the breakfast table each day.

Please hand any found items in at reception or report them there if you lose something. All found items are stored and managed by our housekeeping team. The hotel accepts no responsibility for items that cannot be located.
Our underground car park is free of charge (first come - first serve). If you park in the underground car park, we ask you to hand in your car keys at reception and give us your registration number. The entrance is 2.20 metres high.

Every fourth day from the day of your arrival, your room will automatically receive the full range of services.
Let us know if the “crumb monster” has struck. We’ll schedule your room cleaning for the following day between 09:00 and 13:00.
Please note that during the room cleaning, only the housekeeper is permitted to be in the room.
Ehrwald’s panorama captivates at first glance. To the east soars the mighty Zugspitze, while to the south the snowfields of the Mieming Range and the Wetterstein Mountains dazzle the eye. Perched at just under 1,000 metres above sea level and nestled in a sun-drenched, wild-romantic valley sprinkled with mountain lakes, Ehrwald is truly a picture-perfect paradise.
Ehrwald – WHERE IS EHRWALD? Just follow the Zugspitze! Anyone making for the Tyrolean side of the mountain will find themselves in Ehrwald sooner or later. As the largest municipality in the region, it sits right at the foot of the Wetterstein range, home to the 2,962-metre-high Zugspitze. In the Ehrwald Basin, the Lermooser Moos lies adjacent to the town, with the Loisach River winding through it.
What’s in a name? Derived from the Old High German “erro wald,” Ehrwald may mean “beginning of the forest.” Others believe the original name conveyed “old forest” or even “ore forest,” which would make sense given the nearby mineral deposits.
As a family hotel, we also offer special treatments for kids and teens. We’ve got wellness for the whole family, so please book early. We’re happy to advise you by phone or in person at reception.
Appointments can be made daily at reception between 09:00 and 18:00. We offer a comprehensive range – from aromatherapy massage to medical massage, from an imperial bath to a family mud-fight in the Rasul. You’ll find the full treatment programme in the wellness folder at reception, and we can gladly email it to you in advance. An extract can be found here.
Cancellation of wellness appointments
If you cannot make your treatment, please cancel at least 12 hours beforehand. Appointments not cancelled will be charged at 80 % of the treatment price (any treatments included in packages that aren’t used are considered consumed and non-refundable). Unfortunately, late arrivals will simply mean a shorter treatment.
Tirolerhof has its very own ski school. You can conveniently book your courses when you make your reservation, and the fees will simply appear on your hotel bill. Courses can start any day of the week except Saturdays. You’ll find group lessons at all ability levels, and our children’s ski school—with its own practice area—is literally just “one ski length” from the hotel. Be sure to secure your place when you book!

FREE OF CHARGE | You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 21 days before arrival. If you take advantage of this option, we’ll rebook your stay to another date at no extra cost. Your deposit remains valid and will be credited towards your next stay. No handling fee applies.
GENERAL TERMS | For cancellations on the day of arrival, no-shows, early departures or late arrivals, the full room rate (100 % of the total price) will be charged. Cancellations and changes are only accepted in writing. Your reservation only becomes binding once we’ve received your deposit within the specified period. No refunds are given for unused meals. If you arrive mid-week, a room change over the weekend is possible. For free cancellations, we can refund your deposit on request, minus an administration fee of € 150 per room.
PACKAGES | Special-rate packages are non-cancellable. The total amount is due immediately upon booking and is non-refundable. No additional discounts (e.g. Happy Card, loyalty bonus or other offers) can be applied.
Zugspitze, at 2,962 m, is Germany’s highest mountain and one of the Alps’ premier viewing peaks. On a clear day you can enjoy a four-country panorama, taking in the two- and three-thousand-metre summits (and the only four-thousander) of the Eastern Alps. From Ehrwald you reach the summit directly via the Tyrolean Zugspitz Railway. Even the ascent in the 100-person panoramic cabins is an experience: almost silently you glide up the mountain, conquering a vertical gain of 1,725 m in just ten minutes.
Experience Museum
The “Fascination Zugspitze” experience world at the mountain station gives visitors insights into the history of the Zugspitze, the construction of Tyrol’s first cable car and current impressions. The exhibition captivates with historic photographs, Europe’s highest-altitude 3D show, a variety of film screenings, a glass floor offering a view straight down, a walk-in map and much more.
Panoramic Views
Once you’ve conquered the Zugspitze with the aid of modern technology, you find yourself on the summit. Stepping into the old arrival hall, the floor-to-ceiling glass frontage offers a unique view of the surrounding mountain world. The gallery, featuring a gondola from the 1960s, serves primarily as a viewing platform for the panorama and the scale model of the Zugspitze massif located one storey below. From here you can interactively select and highlight the mountain groups visible from the summit via a control panel.

That’s the name of this fascinating visitor centre. Snow holds particularly diverse meanings for us here in the Alps—and especially in Tyrol: tourism, winter sports and even the dark, quiet season are all themes that profoundly influence our region.
